One local player from Western Australia has taken home the entire Division 1 prize pool of $22 million. Last night’s $22 million Division 1 prize is the third largest Lotto prize won in WA. The record for the State’s largest Lotto win sits at $30 million which was won in 2001 and 2007.
This jackpot, follows three other jackpot winners from this year starting with a Noranda family who took home a $20 million Powerball prize in February.
This was followed by an Esperance Goldfields resident who collected a $10 million Powerball prize in May. Then, just less than three weeks ago, a Perth southern suburbs couple picked up a $20 million Powerball prize.
